Montjuïc Cable Car
The Montjuïc Cable Car offers panoramic views of Barcelona and carries you as far as the Castle of Montjuïc, passing over the city's most impressive gardens and lookout points.
Barcelona Montjuïc Cable Car
The Montjuïc Cable Car connects the Parc Montjuïc station with the top of the Montjuïc mountain by means of a 752-metre aerial journey to Montjuïc Castle. From its modern cabins you will recognize Barcelona’s most emblematic buildings, such as the Sagrada Familia or the Torre Agbar, and enjoy wonderful views of the port area.
From the Montjuïc Cable Car station you can easily get to the Fundació Joan Miró, the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya and the Poble Espanyol. You can also relive the 1992 Olympic Games with a visit to the Olympic Stadium.
How to get to the Montjuïc Cable Car?
The easiest way to get to the cable car is the funicular railway, as Parc de Montjuïc station is right next to the cable car base station.
*The Montjuïc Funicular is temporarily out of service, but you can use a special replacement bus, running on the same schedule, departing from Paral·lel metro station (L2 and L3). The Montjuïc Funicular will be closed from October 20, 2025, for approximately five months.
You can also get to the cable car on the Barcelona Bus Turístic stop: Telefèric de Montjuïc) or bus numbers 50 and 55.
