Self-consumption facilities with renovable sources
These steps demonstrate TMB’s commitment to mitigating climate change through the transition to more sustainable energy systems. This action makes it possible to optimise the use of electrical energy and ensure greater efficiency by uniting production and consumption, and also to help cut CO2 emissions by using green energy over fossil fuel dependant energies.
Photovoltaic panels on the Zona Franca depot roof
This initiative aims to add a self-consumption photovoltaic solar installation of 349.65 kW on the rooftop of the new Zona Franca depot. This facility will include photovoltaic modules, protective electrical panels and power inversors.
It consists of a TYPE2 instalment, in line with RD 900/2015, in which the electrical production from photovoltaic modules injects the current produced into the building’s low voltage instalment, the aim being to replace a percentage of the low-voltage electrical consumption used in the depot building, while maintaining the connection to the electrical distribution network.
This includes two contracts:
- Supply and instalment of the photovoltaic facility
- DO and CSS services
