TMB Short Story Contest
A literary competition that has become a real classic among the awards held on the occasion of Barcelona.
Since 2007, the event has called upon the people of Barcelona and its metropolitan area to put their talent and creativity to the test by writing a short story, which can be either fiction or non-fiction, inspired by any of TMB’s modes of public transport.
Apart from stimulating ingenuity and encouraging the habit of reading, the competition aims to foster a sense of public-spiritedness and the values of respect and civic harmony on public transport.
Categories
Relats Curts is divided into the following formats and categories:
- Freestyle story: This category allows you to write a short story, comprising 3,500 characters, inspired by transport or a scenario related to TMB, civic responsibility or coexistence on transport.
- Tweet-story: Use a tweet of up to 280 characters to tell a brief story involving transport or a scenario related to TMB, the legend of Sant Jordi, civic responsibility or coexistence on transport.
- School story: In this category children and young, in different age groups, can let their imaginations run wild by writing a short story of up to 3,500 characters. There is also a price for the most motivating teacher.
- Staff story: is only open to the employees of any of the TMB Group’s companies.

The Llibre Solidari Association is a non-profit organization that promotes a culture of sustainability and solidarity in the Catalan region. Llibre Solidari strives to get people involved in living more sustainably with the environment through the reuse of second-hand products (books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl records and clothing). Llibre Solidari promotes activities around the world related to books and literature with a view to becoming a cultural reference in Catalonia.
